The State of Wyoming's first Microtel Inn & Suites hotel has opened at 812 Locust Street in Rawlins, off I-80 at Exit 214 (Higley Blvd.) between Cheyenne and Salt Lake City. The 59-room hotel showcases the Microtel brand's award-winning new prototype design, and boasts a contemporary, streamlined environment with unexpected amenities that guests would not ordinarily expect to find in an economy hotel - such as free WiFi and free local and long distance phone calls. The hotel is owned by the Wyoming-based partnerships Rawhide Group and Rawlins Hotel Group, and managed by Omni Hospitality of Medina, OH.

Just in time to take the bite out of food prices, the Mayflower Park Hotel has created a Rise and Shine Breakfast Package for guests who have traveled the distance to stay at the historic hotel. "With record costs to travel, we feel the need to pitch in and let our guests know we appreciate the time and money they spend in order to stay with us," states general manager, Paul Ishii. The Rise and Shine Breakfast Package offers a classic or deluxe guestroom at the Mayflower Park Hotel, full American breakfast for two in our award winning restaurant Andaluca and complimentary valet parking. Package prices start at $215 plus tax for a classic guestroom and $235 plus tax for a deluxe guestroom. The Rise and Shine Package is good through December 30, 2008 and is based on a space available basis. Fall package prices of $195 will start October 1, 2008. The package is good for individual travel only and not available for groups or travel agent commissions.
