Wildwood is also used as a collective term referring to the four communities with Wildwood comprising part of the town name, specifically the Borough of Wildwood Crest, City of Wildwood, Borough of West Wildwood and the Borough of North Wildwood. Wildwood City is governed by a three-member commission consisting of Mayor Ernest Troiano, Jr. Wildwood is also home to the beverage known as the "Lime Rickey".
