Bonita Springs

Bonita Springs, a city in Lee County, Florida with a population of 32,797. The city is located on both Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Bonita Springs has a lot to offer to visitors and is worth checking out. 

Get in: 

Southwest Florida International Airport is located near South Fort Myers.

Naples Municipal Airport in Naples is a smaller airport primarily for private aviation.

Major highways leading to Bonita Springs are:

  • Interstate 75
  • U.S. Route 41 "South Tamiami Trail"
  • (County Road 865) Bonita Beach Road / Hickory Boulevard 

Lee County Transit Department provides the Fixed-route bus and trolley service.

By train, Seminole Gulf Railway has a line that passes through the city. 

Get around: 

There are car rentals at the airport. You can also ride a bus. Walking is fine but biking would be a better alternative.

A mastery of the Spanish language isn’t necessary to understand that a place called Bonita Springs is bound to be pretty easy on the eyes. This destination is located on the coast of Southwest Florida amongst several other hotspots like Naples and Fort Myers, but it deserves a special look due to its rapid recent growth, abundance of activities, and rich coastal beauty. Bonita Springs is a little bit traditional, a little bit modern and definitely worth more than a passing glance.
