Responding to current "Green" trends in tourism, Murphy-Goode is opening a tasting room located at 20 Matheson Street in the town center of Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California on May 1, 2008. When Jackson Family Wines acquired Murphy-Goode in the summer of 2006, the decision was made to bring a personal wine experience to patrons of this busy wine tourism hub. The relocation to Healdsburg from several miles out of town saves visitors to the winery from a trek into Alexander Valley, and based on weekly average visitor counts to the old facility, this change will save about 75 gallons of gas a week!
