Non Stop Air Travel between Newark and Paris new service all business class L'avion airlines
By Staff Writer | Published  01/4/2007
The U.S. DOT approved start-up carrier Elysair's application to operate nonstop service between Newark and Paris Orly Airport. Responding to concerns from American, Continental and United airlines, DOT wrote, "We are satisfied with assurances provided by the French Government that U.S. carriers will be accorded access to Orly on an open, fair and nondiscriminatory basis." All-business class Elysair, recently renamed L'avion, would join Eos, MaxJet and, as of Jan 25, Silverjet in the growing niche of premium transatlantic operators.
