TripAdvisor(TM) TravelCast is a barometer used to predict what's hot in
travel destinations. TripAdvisor engineers have developed a proprietary
algorithm that looks at several criteria including changes in search
activity and postings throughout the world's largest travel community,
http://www.tripadvisor.com.
The top three emerging world hotspots for travel are Jerba, Tunisia,
Makadi Bay, Egypt and Phangnga, Thailand. Top three predicted hotspots for
North American travel are Sunny Isles Beach, Miami, Florida; Kitty Hawk
(Outer Banks), North Carolina and Seward, Alaska.
Sunny Isles Beach, Miami - Florida's Riviera - is perfectly situated
between Miami's glittering skyline and Fort Lauderdale's sleek, palm-line
boulevards; providing unparalleled access to world-renowned restaurants,
nightclubs, theaters, cultural destinations - and most notably, the
beaches. Sunny Isles Beach boasts one of Miami's most stunning oceanfront
vistas, with miles of gorgeous white sand, pristine public parks and plenty
of places to play. Quick access to museums, shopping, spas, sports
stadiums, golf, tennis, boating, and diving are all part of its appeal as
well. Visit the City of Sunny Isles Beach online at http://www.sibfl.net.
"This is a tremendous honor for the City of Sunny Isles Beach,"
remarked Ibis Romero, executive director of the Sunny Isles Beach Resort
Association. "We've celebrated our 10th Anniversary, and this recognition
is the icing on the cake for 2007. We are so happy to serve the nearly one
million visitors that come to Sunny Isles Beach annually, and we look
forward to providing the perfect travel destination for our future
visitors."
