Vive la St Pancras International - Europe's Destination Station
St Pancras International is celebrating its Continental Connections this month with a series of events that will tickle the taste buds and be a feast for the eyes and ears.

As the home of Eurostar and with the ability to eat and drink your way around Europe with the vast array of restaurants and bars in the station, St Pancras International is the perfect place to indulge your continental passions. The activities fittingly kick start on 11 July - Bastille Weekend in France - and will include food sampling, entertainment from Belgian Cabaret performers courtesy of the Shaw Theatre, traditional French music from Ooh La La, a pavement artist, mime and caricaturists. There will even be an exciting new competition launched with Eurostar later in the month where customers will be able to win the chance for a relaxing weekend away to the continent. In addition, a new French themed photographic exhibition is previewing at St Pancras International from 11 July until 31 July.

The exhibition, called France.e.motion, was commissioned by Maison de la France - the French Government Tourist Office - in association with students from the London College of Communication to present a vibrant look at cities across France. 22 students from the college (part of the University of the Arts London) - visited 22 cities during 4 days in April to make a photographic report. The cities such as Lille, Versailles, Nice and Toulouse each have their own strong culture or are well known by the public, but they have now been revisited through a contemporary lense and the students' creativity.

Dominique Didinal, Marketing Manager for St Pancras International said:

"St Pancras International is Europe's Destination Station - not only the gateway to Europe but also a haven for Europhiles who may not be catching a train but wish to experience a little continental chic. The French and Belgians are renowned for their joie de vivre, where better to take a leaf out of their book than at St Pancras International? And with something for everyone - from food and fabulous decor to mime and music - it will be very a la mode to be seen at this most chic of stations".
