The Sharp Shop

The Sharp Shop is located on the level above, and close to the White-spotted bamboo shark nursery.

Dining at the Aquarium is convenient. There are several dining facilities located throughout that serve a variety of food and beverages. You can enjoy a variety of daily specials, soups, salads, pizzas, and paninis. All major credit cards are accepted at the National Aquarium dining facilities. Dining facilities include:

• Aquarium Café
• Frog Café
• Knott Harbor Viewing Room
• Box Lunches (requires prior arrangements)

The National Aquarium does not allow food, beverages or gum inside the Aquarium. This is for the safety of the animals. Food and beverages obtained from outside of the Aquarium is not allowed inside the Aquarium buildings.

Accessibility of the National Aquarium includes:

• Elevators: Elevators with the wheelchair accessibility symbol are designated for use by visitors who use wheelchairs while touring
• Express Entry: This is for visitors with special needs and their parties. Tickets must be purchased at the Members/Accessible entrance. Entrance to the Aquarium is then granted immediately. This is to avoid the chance of a wait at the main ticket center.
• Parking: No on-site parking. Visitors may be dropped off at the circular bus drop-off spot in front of the Aquarium. There are downtown parking locations. Please refer to Part 1 of this article series.
• Reserved Seating: You can obtain reserved areas for the dolphin presentation to provide a better view of the marine mammals.
• Service animals: Are allowed in all public areas of the Aquarium
• Wheelchairs/Strollers Route: You can obtain a companion Accessibility Guide and Map to follow the specially designed wheelchair/stroller route. Obtain this at the Accessibility/Members’ entrance, the stroller check and all information desks.
• Wheelchairs/Strollers Use in the Building: Visitors can obtain wheelchairs free of charge. You will need to deposit your driver’s license at the Stroller Check on the ground level. Wheelchairs are limited in number and are a first-come, first-serve basis for use inside the Aquarium. Strollers for children with disabilities are the only strollers allowed in the buildings. You will have to pick up an Aquarium tag from the Stroller Check to display while touring the National Aquarium.
